I tend to not blog specifically about food, but like you, I think it's relevant because of the lifestyle so many of us are striving toward. Good recipes are always an encouragement in that direction.Leighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02435811789823712254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9125805636877323564.post-62900552765919801472011-02-02T17:29:57.962-08:002011-02-02T17:29:57.962-08:00A six egg quiche, now you are talking! You did great! I agree about the mess, never fun to clean up especially when making something with eggs in a pan. Always gotta give it a good soak :) I look forward to seeing you testing out some recipes ;)luckybunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17663313808544386765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9125805636877323564.post-30318477513234604762011-01-30T10:58:48.575-08:002011-01-30T10:58:48.575-08:00Fibre art, alpacas, pictures or food stories...reg...Fibre art, alpacas, pictures or food stories...regardless of what you post it is all "good"!!! 0)

Your quiche sound wonderful...I think the spinach and feta would be great!

I'm not a cook...in fact I've been known to use the word "hate" in the same sentence as cook...so I relate to what you are saying!

Pot lucks for me have always meant Cesar salad, bread/buns,veggies & dip, spinach dip, fruit & dip, deserts...all store made...the way I figure is...I'm attending the function & I brought something!!!

Enjoy the day Norma...
CheersAzure Accessorieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14909773759269019279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9125805636877323564.post-66207171008646578222011-01-29T11:56:20.496-08:002011-01-29T11:56:20.496-08:00Nancy...I thought using Bisquick was almost like h...Nancy...I thought using Bisquick was almost like homesteading! I was serious about the dip recipe though when I asked you at Pat's.

That recipe you did with the bisquick is similar to one I have been making for years although the one I usually do uses zucchini and cheddar. I wanted to avoid the box Bisquick so I figured out how to use ww flour, baking powder and olive oil. I am supposed to blog it soon and will let you know when I get to it.

I didn't know you are blogging so thanks for the heads up and the thoughtful link to Chapman's Landing Cooking Studio blog.

NancyNancy Guppy,https://www.blogger.com/profile/09532536904913704299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9125805636877323564.post-50290985791037281332011-01-29T11:13:18.628-08:002011-01-29T11:13:18.628-08:00[They didn't even mention the 3 days it would ...[They didn't even mention the 3 days it would take me to wash the frying pan and pie plate...] LOL! Sounds like my house. Although, since I love to cook, it's usually an assortment of cookware and utensils that need to be washed.Monahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07510919412211757152noreply@blogger.com
