Oh...that IS soft...

I couldn't resist...

I've never spun a two tone yarn before.  This was a surprise in my last mill order.  I'm anxious to see what the finished knit garment will look like.  I'm thinking a plain rib scarf and cap set.  We'll see.

Experts say you should plan your project and spin for it.  I'm not an expert ;)

I love 2 tones!!! I find it much more fun to spin and knit with. Can't wait to see what you knit up :)

Such an interesting top. It looks great spun.
I spin to spin and then figure out what to do with it. Our woodturner friend says the same about the piece of wood he works on...he waits for the wood to tell him what it will become as he turns it. So maybe the experts are wrong on this one.

Oh, I love spinning two tone yarn! Or three tone, or four, whatever! It is fascinating to watch wind on the bobbin.

Thanks for the comments. I'm anxious to finish this batch of handpun. It's incredibly soft and I am hopeful that it turns out into nice Sport weight.

I saw your comment on wooly knits and bits. What's housework? Happy spinning!
